Hello and welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of California based in San Francisco. As a trauma-informed therapist, I am here to help you heal the effects of past traumas on your life today. These lasting effects include relationship difficulties, chronic stress, anxiety, panic, depression, low self-esteem, and issues with food and body image. I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and seek to provide respectful and culturally sensitive services to all. As an immigrant myself, I have a special appreciation for the experience of first and second generation immigrants.

My approach draws from mindfulness, body-oriented interventions, parts work, evidence-based modalities, advances in neuroscience, and attachment research. The therapy process, as I see it, works best when it is collaborative and supportive. Therefore, from the very start of our time together I will work to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment for you. I will gently encourage you to show up authentically and strive to do the same.

Our work together will call for a very dynamic effort on your part. In order for the therapy to be most successful, you will have to actively practice the skills and resources we develop together both during our sessions and between sessions. Our work together is a joint effort between therapist and client for the purpose of creating positive change in your life.

To be a good partner to you in the healing process, I stay up to date with emerging findings from neuroscience and attachment research and continue to deepen my skills in leading approaches to treating trauma and related conditions. I receive ongoing consultation and regularly attend professional training to ensure that I am providing the most effective and ethically sound services. Most importantly, I bring curiosity and humility to my work and continue to learn from my clients about what is most helpful.
